Bike Your Way to a Better Commute!

Nearly 2.7 million people in Atlanta commute by car every day, averaging 60 minutes daily. That makes 86 million pounds of CO2 each day, which reduces our region’s air quality and creates stress and delays. We all can breathe easier when more people in our region work to incorporate a cleaner commute into their daily routine. That’s why this October, we’re encouraging you to participate in our sixth annual Atlanta Bike Challenge!

To date, 8,600 participants have biked more than 4.4 million miles and reduced carbon emissions by 580,000 pounds. This year, we want you to join us! Not only does biking help the environment, it helps to reduce stress and make for a healthier, happier you.

Riders can participate solo or as a part of a team, which can be social or with a worksite. Your team will have its own leaderboard and, by riding for as little as 10 minutes, you will work together to compete against other organizations to earn points and win great prizes. And don’t worry solo riders! You will be able to compete against other solo riders from across the region to win prizes, too. You could win restaurant vouchers, gear or even a new bike!

If you register by September 30, 2019, you’ll be entered in a drawing for a free bike from Atlanta’s own Edison Electric Bike Co. The prizes don’t end there, you can also participate throughout the month of October to be entered in drawings for restaurant vouchers, bike gear and more.

To participate, all you have to do is:
